Designing for Durability
Where It All Began
The White Story was never meant to be a brand — it began as something far more personal. I was still in university, in my third year, when my cousin asked me to design her wedding gown. I poured everything I had into that one dress — my passion, my heritage, my curiosity, and all the late-night sketches taped to my dorm room walls.
It wasn’t just about the gown. It was the trust she placed in me, the intimacy of crafting something so symbolic — a garment meant to hold love, memory, and new beginnings.

There may be no better way to communicate what I do than through images. As you browse , take a few moments to let your eyes linger here, and see if you can get a feel for my signature.
A Story in Every Thread
That first gown quietly marked the beginning of The White Story — a project rooted in emotion, memory, and the deep significance of what we choose to wear in life’s most defining moments.
I began weaving archival research into my process — sourcing vintage materials, lace fragments, old motifs, and forgotten detailing — drawing inspiration from the past to honour the present.
Each piece became a quiet conversation between eras: a contemporary silhouette shaped by heritage craftsmanship and timeless emotion.
In every garment, there is a whisper of something old and something deeply personal — stitched into something beautifully new.
Then and Now
Today, The White Story lives as both a personal archive and a professional offering. It reflects my experience across India and Europe — from bridal consulting to conscious couture — while staying rooted in the emotional beginnings that shaped it.
Each design still begins the same way: with a conversation, a feeling, and the quiet understanding that clothing is never just fabric — it’s memory in motion.
